Nothing New

Hi everyone! Just posting to let you know that we're all still baby yet either! I see my OB tomorrow (Friday) and hopefully he'll give me some good news as to if we are progressing at all......I certainly hope so.

Spelling and allergies

Life here has been anything but mundane lately. Two weeks ago my OB told me to slow down or this baby was going to be born too early. Last week he said, "You can go anytime, and you and baby will be fine at this point." Guess what? No baby yet! I'm only 37 weeks and 2 days, but I AM SO READY TO HAVE THIS BABY! I go back to the doctor on Friday and we'll see what he says then.

Last week (Thursday through Monday) Josiah had the stomach virus. Yuck, and yuck again. I'm glad he's feeling better now. That is one virus I wish could be irraticated!

Camden has uttered a few funny things this week. The other day he told me that his daddy is "A dude." Then he told me "My allergies have kicked in." I asked him where they kicked in at and he said, "some are in my cheeks, and the rest are in my feet." Hmmm.

I was on the phone with my brother Bob the other afternoon and I spelled something to him. Camden quickly said, "What did you spell." I told him that I spelled the words because I didn't want him to know what I was saying. A few hours later we were all getting ready to leave the house when Camden spouted off some random letters. I said, "What did you say?" His response??? "I spelled it because I didn't want YOU to know what I said!"

Easter Pics!

These pics are from Easter Sunday as well as the night before. Camden enjoyed coloring Easter eggs, and both boys loved being with Sam and Gabe for the day!

So, my son is confused. In the past week, we've tried to explain a few concepts and he is completely turned around!
Last week Camden asked us about God the Father and God the Son. There's a catch here. He was meaning God the SUN. When we tried to explain it to him, he told me that "you and Dad are confusing things and getting all the words wrong!"

Last Thursday we had a choir here from Tri-City Ministries in Missouri. They sang a song that contained the lyrics, "God is a Rock." Camden looked at me in the middle of the song and promptly declared that "God is NOT a rock!!!!" I tried to give him a brief explanation, but he wouldn't accept my reasoning. He is convinced that Joel and I know nothing.

On a lighter note, yesterday we set about conquering our closet. We all share one closet in the boy's room, and we are reorganizing it....completely. EVERYTHING came out or was moved to it's new location yesterday. To keep Josiah busy while we started, I asked him if he wanted to watch a movie. His reply? "Wheezy Pooh." Easy enough!
